A Quiet Day, A New Offering

I’ve always had goals and visions. Writing has been my first love, but I’ve also quietly harbored a dream of sharing curated pieces with others. They may not be magical to everyone, but to me they’re full of the joy of seasonal living – a way to carry reminders of the rhythms of the year with you, whether you embrace every detail or just a few.

Yesterday was a gift. I spent it on the porch, tea in hand, soaking in the last quiet day to myself before our new little one arrives. But even in stillness, I felt the pull to create – to make, to contribute, to breathe life into something meaningful.

So yesterday, between moments of rest, I worked on something for both sides of my creative heart: for From the Trees to Seas and for my fellow witches over at Seasonal Sorceress. For those who want seasonal curation without compromise, I’ve started offering seasonal dashboards on Notion.

If you’ve never used it, Notion is like a modern-day common place book – a beautiful, digital scrapbook-meets-organizer. It can hold everything from simple calendars to meal plans, recipes, content creation tools, and more.

The first item I’ve listed on my Ko-Fi page is an Autumn Dashboard, designed to help you embrace the shift from summer to fall. Inside, you’ll find:

  • Autumn cleaning checklists
  • Seasonal meal planning
  • Curated recipes
  • Journaling prompts to connect deeper with the season
  • A list of seasonal reads
  • And more – crafted for adults, kids, and families of all kinds.

You can view it as-is or duplicate it to make your own living digital common place book.

This is just the beginning – I have plans to offer more seasonal treasures down the road. But for now, I’m offering small, slow, intentional creations for those who love to embrace the shifting of the seasons.

I’ll still be here blogging – sharing life, offering recipes, and posting free seasonal content for everyone to enjoy. But for those who want to dive deeper into the ebb and flow of the year, I hope the offerings on my Ko-Fi page bring you that extra layer of connection.

With love,

Mikaela | From the Trees to Seas
